September 5: PearlRelicSuicune  The mystic PearlRelicSuicune is now available for purchase on the Mine Shop for 1 month, costing 100,000  Crystal,  Pearl, and  Silver Shards! All three shards can be found on Olune Mines if you have it unlocked.Happy birthday to Nonexistent User! September Star Shop Raffles!    The September Star Shop raffles are now open for entry! August 30  Update: The outages appear to be resolved, so a 1.5x boost is now active for 3–4 hours! Please be advised that major portions of the internet appear to be experiencing outages. If the game is not working for you, this is probably why. The issue is out of our hands for now, but you may have some success switching to a different network (e.g. mobile data) if you're experiencing issues. Sorry for the inconvenience! Once the outages have passed, a 1.5x EXP boost will be activated for 3 hours. August 27  RainbowApplin is the special Pokemon on Moon Gaze Mountain for 2 weeks! First off: RelicLarvitar can be purchased on the Moon Shop for  1,000 Moon Points! This RelicLarvitar is concealed in shadows and has a small chance of being a different Pokemon when purchased! Next up: Several new Pokemon have invaded Newmoon Island! There are a number of Pokemon to discover if you have this map available, so good luck!          Finally: several mysterious Unown have been sighted around Eternia! Players have a chance of encountering these special Unown by searching on the Legendary Areas, battling, or mining. If one is found, it will automatically join. Trade in the Unown you find by visiting the limited-time Unown Exchange to win some cool prizes! Some notes:
August: Exclusive Donator Avatars!     The Exclusive Avatars for August 2020 are ShinyHyperGigantamaxCharizard & ShinyHyperGigantamaxLapras! These avatars come in two variants: one set with outlines like traditional Hyper sprites, and one set with a higher resolution model (sans outlines). Choose whichever you prefer! All donators who donate $25 or more in August will earn these avatars for free! The avatars are permanently and automatically added to your Avatar Collection. They are available for a month only, then they will be unobtainable.   Also, if you donate $50 or more during August, you'll get HyperBlizzardZamazenta and HyperInfernoZacian avatars! August 2: Amaro Gym    For all Pokemon Showdown battlers out there: Dylan's Amaro Gym is accepting challenges for the month of August! Successful challengers will win 6x CrystalGalaxyRalts! Review the linked thread for instructions. Furthermore, challengers no longer need to win twice in a row—one win will suffice.  Also: RelicFomantis has taken over God's Dream for 10 days! Thanks to Dylan for this, and a big thanks to RelicPhoenix447 for the lovely custom Relic sprites! July 31  A Newspaper Event celebrating the marriage of Lost and Seven-T-Four has begun! If you're interested, review the details here! July 29: Seillib Trading Day & Reforms  The renowned Seillib Trading Day has begun! This year's Seillib Trading Day will take place over the course of July 29th. Furthermore, we are implementing reforms to the rules of Seillib and other aspects of the economy, and we plan to add a new feature/map called Hoopa's Ring which will provide hard-working players the opportunity to acquire coveted rares in a unique and exciting way. These reforms are experimental and may change radically. Please read the Economic Reforms thread for more information!   Finally, a reminder that today is the last day of the Solstice Event, so grow your trees & gather some Sun/Moon Tokens while you still can! Note that Lustrous Mines will remain open for awhile after the end of the event. July 26: Fox House  A mysterious new map has appeared: Fox House! Long ago, powerful Illusory Foxes took over one of the largest Mansions in all of Eternia. Once a place of quiet, this luxurious estate has since turned into the foxes' festival grounds. Their debauchery knows no end. Due to the illusory properties of this map, things are not always as they seem...  Rare and powerful Illusory Legends are known to frequent this map, and may appear in place of your standard Map Legend -- this is one of the rarest events in the game and can yield unpredictable results.   The surge of energy emitted from this map has caused LegacyNinetales to ascend to its true form and, as a result of this new power emerging, a portrait of its likeness has appeared in Fox House as well! Running from July 26th to August 6th, Fox House's unique nature causes it to appear and vanish without warning. Make sure you explore while you can! Fox House Credits: A big thanks to everybody involved in this special map release! - Dio: Conceptualizing the event map, design and content development work - Sigi: Spriting the map image, as well as creating its unique light effects orbs - Nonexistent User: Editing & polishing the map image, spriting the new LegacyNinetales sprite & portrait July 25: Lustrous Mines!  The final Solstice Event sitewide goal has been achieved, which means Lustrous Mines is now open for exploration!     Accompanying Lustrous Mines is a new, experimental mining feature: the Pickaxe Refinery! Here you'll be able to buy, upgrade, and equip different pickaxes, each having varying trade-offs and requirements for being purchased or upgraded.   In particular, the Solar Pickaxe & Lunar Pickaxe will increase your odds of finding  Sun Tokens or  Moon Tokens respectively! You will keep your Solar/Lunar pickaxe after the Solstice Event ends, minus the token boost. (You'll have a headstart for next year's Solstice Event though, if we do another one!)If this new feature is received well, we hope to expand the selection of pickaxes available in the future and add more depth to mining in general.
