January 22: Donations update

Donations for sitewide EXP boosts now provide a 1.5x boost rather than the previous 1.3x, and EXP boosts are now capped at 2.0x rather than 1.9x:

1.5x EXP boost: $25
2.0x EXP boost: $50

Basically, this makes boosts significantly cheaper, and provides more EXP for your Pokemon during an active boost. Check out the Donations Guide for more details and instructions on donating, or PM ★ Cless if you have questions!

January 20: Winter Event!

It's time for this year's grand Winter Event!

Find Presents!

Mystery Presents have appeared from the Shadow Realm.
They can be found at various locations around Eclipse!
There are four tiers of Presents: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Elite.
To open these mysterious and festive boxes, you will have to complete assorted tasks!

Also, making yet another magnificent return...
You can find Diamond and Pearl Snowflakes!
These can be spent at the Snowflake Shop.

Community releases

ShadowHyperTyrunt can be captured for a limited time at Fullmoon Island courtesy of Aurellyn, and PearlEventStufful is available for purchase from the SSM Shop thanks to Bob! Credit to Nonexistent User for the Tyrunt sprite!

Going forward

Snowflake Bags—mysterious bags which summon forth various shadow-y items—will become available in the Snowflake Shop soon!

January 19: ULTIMEW

Happy 3-year mod anniversary to our beloved ★ Ultimew!


The Real-world currency rule has been amended with the following clause to forbid a practice that was previously considered a "gray area", in the interest of fairness. This clause may be further refined based on outcomes and community feedback:

"Trading," "selling," or "raffling" off donation perks in exchange for profit or in-game materials of any kind is prohibited, in order to accomodate a level playing field for users with and without real-life money. This rule does not apply if the offer or raffle will accrue no in-game profit to you, such as a raffle with free entry or a cbox contest. Deals and raffles that started or finished before January 20th, 2020 are exempt from this rule change, as long as there exists proof of the arrangement as well as its timing.

With approval from the Webmaster, it is possible to host contests/raffles for donation perks where the profits of the contest will go to Seillib—this may be handy if you want to give entrants the opportunity to buy multiple tickets, for instance. Platinum Coins sent to Seillib will eventually be redistributed, most frequently as part of a Star Shop raffle.

January 10: Star Park!

Jirachi's Park is now Star Park, a playground where you'll find some cute star-shaped Pokemon for a limited time! This event lasts for roughly 48 hours, ending on January 12th 3:00 PM Eclipse Time. Thanks to Dio and Baylor!


Also, you have one last chance to find RainbowBetaCleffa DNAs by searching Star Park!

January 8

ShinyGalarianPonyta is the special Pokemon on Moon Gaze Mountain for 2 weeks! This is the first Galarian Pokemon to appear in Eternia! Thanks to Nonexistent User for the beautiful sprite.


Furthermore, GoldenRetroHo-oh can be purchased at the Rock Trade-In for 850,000 Rocks, thanks to Dahlia!


Finally, AstralGiratina has been sighted at Tree of Life! It is capped at 13ig (amount in-game). Thanks to Toxii!

January 2: Suicune's Oasis!

Suicune's Oasis is once again open for exploration! There are a bunch of Pokemon to be discovered there for only a limited time, so get your PokeBalls ready and act quickly!


Furthermore, training any wild Pokemon species that can be found on Suicune's Oasis will award a 10 level cap boost and x1.6 XP boost in battles! For example: because SapphireRowlet is a wild Pokemon on Suicune's Oasis, if I trained my HyperRowlet, I would be awarded an additional boost.

December 30: Disguised Daily Prize Chests

Players may now find Disguised Daily Prize Chests! You have a higher chance of getting a disguised chest the higher your Daily Prize Streak is, with best odds at 365 days. The most common disguised chests will appear as Poke Ball Chests:

But when you open it, it could actually be something else, like a Moon Ball Chest!

December 25

You can now find RainbowBetaCleffa DNAs by winning battles! Trainers will have a 1/1333 chance per battle of finding 1/3 of the DNAs required to restore it at the DNA Center. The DNA will be available for only 1 or 2 weeks. Thanks to Baylor for making this happen and for designing the sprite!

December 25: Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everybody! To celebrate, a 1.8x boost is available to all players for the next 3 days! This year's Winter Event will be unveiled in the near future.

A LegacyAbsol portrait, RainbowOmegaMew, and CrystalHyperMew can be found at Pokemon Mansion! LegacyAbsol is capped at 20ig with 1/140k odds, while the Mew are available for 3 months.

A rare Galaxy Pokemon has appeared at Great Volcano for 1 month. Good luck to all trainers who try to capture one! Thanks to SeniorTrick for making this happen, and Kora ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ for designing the sprite.

December 15: Crimson Gemstone

An eerie red glow covers all of Eternia as a massive Crimson Gemstone slices open the skyline, disrupting space itself. With overwhelming radiance and raw power unmatched, seraphic legendary Pokemon shining in red emerge.


During the next 15 days, these legendary Pokemon may appear randomly while you explore, battle, or mine. Thanks to Dio and Woods!

 

Furthermore, LegacyGenesisAbsol has been sighted at Enigma Island, and two new portraits can be found: LegacyLatias and LegacyLatios! Absol will be available for at least 15 days, and the portraits are capped at 20ig. Thanks once again to Dio!


Finally, to cap off this momentous day, the coveted PearlRayquaza is now available for purchase on the Moon Shop! Kudos to Rayman23-0 for this opportunity!

DarkGloriousCelebi has appeared in the Mines for 1 month! You have a 1/251k chance of capturing one by mining in any area. Each player can only find 1 DarkGloriousCelebi. Thanks to Max for putting this in-game as a birthday present to Reece!

Also note that DarkHyperPrimalRayquaza, the hidden map legend (HML) on God's Dream now has an end date: August 12th. If it reaches 12ig before then, it'll become unobtainable early.

Finally, I would like to say, I realized today that DarkHyperPrimalRayquaza was bugged for much of its existence, hence why nobody but Max has been able to find one recently. My apologies for that, good luck to everybody who searches for it now!
